UTV trailer
The UTV trailer is specifically designed to be towed behind the TUATARA side-by-side, but it works well with any other larger capacity UTV, or even an on-road motor vehicle. The trailer is equipped with dual coil springs on both wheels, inertia disc brakes, and all the features and lighting required to be registered and warranted for on-road use. The trailer is fitted with a cargo tray, electric hoist running lights and can be optionally fitted with a deck cage.
This is an extremely versatile and robust trailer, designed for both on-road and off-road use.
The UTV trailer is specifically designed for towing behind the TUATARA UTV side-by-side, any larger capacity UTV, or on-road motor vehicle.

TUATARA UTV cage
One of our most popular accessories. This is a lightweight but very strong aluminium cage that can be easily fitted to the TUATARA side-by-side to enhance the cargo tray’s already generous carrying capacity.
The cage is mounted on the cargo tray in front of the engine cover and the two deck-mounted storage boxes, so it doesn’t hinder access to these items. It’s ideal for carrying lambs, calves, working dogs, or a range of other items.
The cage can be up-sized for electric models and may be equipped with sliding or hinged doors as available.
Removing the cage is quick and easy. Simply undo the butterfly retaining bolts and lift the cage off the cargo tray.

Full glass windscreen and rear window
Most of our customers like adding the glass windscreen and rear window whether they add doors to fully enclose the cabin or not. The windscreen tilts open with struts. The Tuatara safety glass windscreen is flat and comes with a wiper and wash bottle set-up.
The rear window is a separate though complementary option.
Full and half door options
Some Tuatara operators like a fully enclosed cabin, but many don’t. Whatever your safety or comfort needs are, we aim to please you with durable door choices that still allow for good visibility.
One door, two doors, full or half – we can install with purchase to save on shipping or you can add (or remove) later or seasonally. Well hinged with struts, locks, and seals, the doors are steel braced for safety.
